High ResolutionI just wanted to share with everyone that I got my first manga in Japanese!!! *face beaming with excitement* I actually started taking classes in mid-October and since I’m doing well I got myself this as a late Christmas gift for working hard! It’s still hard for me to understand things but, oh ,well, I’m learning!!!

High Resolutionthe ‘recent arrivals’ section at my local B&N’s used books area. Evidently someone sold back their entire BL collection! I picked up volume one of Katekyo and volume one of SeitoKai (both for half off), and then got Yamato Nase’s ‘Pet on Duty’ for free as a promotion!
I love fun BL finds like this. 8)b

High Resolutionmade a ‘hall of fame’ area on the most accessible shelf in my room with all my favorite books my by favorite authors.
unfortunately I was too anal to take anything from sets which means I have nothing to show for Nakamura Asumiko (Sotsugyousei) and Takarai Rihito (Hana Nomi zo Shiru). orz But I saved some space for Ogawa Chise’s new book when it arrives!! 8)b

Japan trip purchases are beginning to pile up.
Answer to a question: I have Ikea’s Billy bookcases with extra shelves. They give some additional space, but can’t be adjusted because the hinges are in the way. That’s why the books are organized by size, even if I’d prefer alphabets. So, basically it’s Japanese BL in one unit, English translated in another, non-BL manga in another. One author’s stuff together, favorites in a place where I can easily reach them, the rest by size, publisher or random order. Smaller collections (CDs, novels) are in alphabetical order by the author though. -
wheretheshallowsbreak asked: post/37805789089/a-bl-bookshelf-ive-been-planning-on-hiding-the Sorry to bother you, but I was wondering where you got these shelves? Also, do you organize your collection alphabetically by title or author, or some other way?
a question for the person who submitted our last post.
